The "Accident Reports" collection consists of official reports of accidents that happened all over the world. They’re indexed by the reporting country, not the country in which the accident happened, so when you "browse" the reports, look for the folder of the national group that investigated the accident.
Our archive is organized into collections based on the donor. This link lets you browse the digitized or described materials from each collection. Or you can use the search box to find full text or description of any item from any collection we’ve digitized.
Browse documents--everything from accident reports to correspondence--that involve specific aircraft manufacturers. Or search any topic using the search box.
This link takes you to everywhere the other links can--and more.
About this Database: The Aviation Safety and Security Archives collects unique or rare materials relevant to our subject specialty. Electronic documents not born digital were created using ABBYY FineReader, Adobe Photoshop, and Fujitsu scanners, or previous versions of optical character recognition and imaging software and scanners available to us. Full text is available for appropriate documents; otherwise descriptions have been provided. The database is maintained by the PTFS ArchivalWare system. This public service has been made possible by a Congressional Award for an “Archive of Aviation” granted to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott Campus.
